satella is currently undergoing a major rework. It is being done in develop. It WILL break compatibility.

satella 1.0 remains in maintenance mode

satella.posix in unavailable on non-POSIX systems, but the rest should work OK.

Satella is a Python library for writing server applications, especially those dealing with mundane but useful things.
